The South Carolina Legislative Action Committee (SCLAC) has drafted a proposed Community Manager Licensing Act (MLA) which will potentially be submitted to the state legislature for consideration in its next session.
This proposed Act will be introduced to the membership via regional informational meetings, the SC Chapter magazine Palmetto Communities and information on this website.
The regional meeting information will be posted on this page and within the Calendar page as they are scheduled, with registration form access. The purpose of the regional meetings is to present information on the proposed MLA with the objectives of getting input and feedback from community managers and to gain a consensus before a final decision is made to move forward.
