October 17 Conference

This year’s Community Association Day Annual Conference & Trade Show is themed “Foundations for the Future: Palmetto Communities Planning for Tomorrow.” Sustaining our communities so that they are viable financially, as well meeting our lifestyle needs long-term, should be an ongoing process. This conference and its topics are designed to educate community volunteers, community managers and staff and anyone involved in the industry professionally.

Join us Thursday evening for our Opening Ceremony, Casino Night at Sea Pines, for cocktails, dinner, gaming and socializing. Tickets are just $25 per person and registration is required.

The full-day educational conference on Friday will feature:

Two morning general sessions
Chapter Annual Meeting & Election
Lunch and trade show activities
Nine breakout sessions (three concurrent in each time slot)
Afternoon Legislative Update
Closing Ceremony

Tuition includes lunch, snacks, trade show admission and all handouts. Participants must pre-register to attend.

CAI Members: Community volunteers, managers and staff - $75

CAI Members: Non-exhibiting or sponsoring vendors - $125*

Non-Members: Community volunteers, managers and staff - $90

Non-Members: Non-exhibiting or sponsoring vendors - $150*

*Vendor rates allow inclusion of business cards at community table in foyer.

The two general sessions are:

9 am – Maintaining Community Standards – Planning for the Future: Reserve Funding, Borrowing and Insurance.

10:45 am – Bankruptcy, Liens & Foreclosures
